How do I setup a DynDNS service for my Netgear modem /router?
Step 1: Login to your Netgear modem / router
- Log in to the router at its default LAN address of http://192.168.0.1
- Enter the default User Name of admin, default password of password, or using whatever User Name, Password and LAN address you have chosen for the router.
Step 2: Enable DynDNS
- From the Advanced section of the main menu, select the Dynamic DNS service sub menu
- Tick " Use Dynamic DNS service"
- Enter your hostname, username, and password from your DynDNS service
- Apply and save all changes
- Test your Dynamic DNS service is working by entering the DynDNS service into your webbrowser.
