I have a SPA-3000, how do I forward all PSTN calls to my mobile number?

Overview

You can forward all incoming PSTN calls through engin using the PSTN to VoIP gateway function. You only pay the mobile rate that you normally pay with engin which of course depends what type of plan you are on.

Step 1: Accessing the Sipura ATA

  1. Connect your phone into the PHONE port of your Sipura ATA.
  2. Dial **** then 110#, the SPA will announce the current IP address
  3. Once you have the IP address of your SPA-3000 you can access the web interface by opening a web browser and typing the following in the Address: http:/ /< IP Address of SPA-3000> For example: http://192.168.1.10
  4. Enter the username: user and and your SIP password
  5. You should now see the Sipura SPA-3000 Phone Adapter Configuration screen.
  6. Click on the admin login ink

  1. Enter the username: admin and your SIP password
  2. Click on the advanced Link

Step 2: The PSTN line tab

  1. Go to the PSTN Line tab
  2. Make sure LINE 1 is set to enable

Step 3: Configuring your SIP account on the PSTN tab

  1. Go to the PSTN Line tab
  2. Make sure LINE 1 is set to enable
  3. Re-enter your Authentication settings as per LINE 1.

Step 4: Configuring your PSTN Dial Plan

  1. Under dial plans, enter the number you wish to forward the PSTN call to.
  2. To specify a number, you use this syntax (S0<:0425101101>)

Step 5: Configuring your PSTN to VoIP Gateway

  1. Select the following options under the PSTN-To-VoIP Gateway Options
    • PSTN-To-VoIP Gateway Enable: Yes
    • PSTN Caller Auth Method: None
    • PSTN Ring Thru Line 1:  Yes
    • PSTN Caller Default DP: 1
  2. Select the following options under the FXO timer and PSTN disconnection.
    • PSTN answer delay: 3 (This dictates how long your PSTN should ring for before it is forwarded)
    • Disconnect tone: 425@-30,425@-30;1(.375/.375/1+2)
