I have an engin series 1 or 2, how do I setup port forwarding via the Telstra Speedstream 4200 modem and assign a static IP address?

There are a total of 5 steps to configure a static IP and to setup port forwarding.


Please note you will need to enter the * key to define the periods in the IP address ie: 10*0*0*10 = 10.0.0.10. Make sure to hang up between each part of this step. After picking up the phone, dial **** to re-enter the config menu.

1. Dial ****, once you hear the voice, dial 101# followed by 0# 1  - Hang up.
2. Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 111#, then 10*0*0*10# 1 - Hang up.
3. Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 121#, then 255*255*255*0# 1    - Hang up.
4. Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 131#, then 10*0*0*138# 1   -Hang up.  

1. Dial **** 100 # to listen to the state of DHCP (voice should say ‘disabled’)
2. Dial **** 110 # to listen to your IP address (should say 10.0.0.10)
3. Dial **** 120 # to listen to your Subnet Mask (should say 255.255.255.0)
4. Dial **** 130 # to listen to your Default Gateway (should say 10.0.0.138)

1. Access the Siemens Speedstream 4200 web configuration menu by entering 10.0.0.138 into the address bar of a web browser, and then press enter.
2. Once you are in the configuration menu, select Login from the left navigation pane of the Web interface, the user name and password to access this section of the configuration menu are both admin by default.

1. Select Setup>Mode and then enable NAPT.
2. Select Setup>Port Fowarding from the left navigation pane of the Web interface.
   
3. Select " Protocol UDP"
4. Enter " 5060 - 5060"
5. Enter 10.0.0.10 as the IP address
   
6. Select " Redirect traffic to this IP address "
   
7. Apply your settings by clicking " Apply"
   

1. Select " Protocol UDP"
2. Enter " 16384- 20384"
3. Enter 10.0.0.10 as the IP address
   
4. Select " Redirect traffic to this IP address "
   
5. Apply your settings by clicking " Apply"
