I have a SPA-3102, how do I setup a static IP and configure port forwarding via my SBG-900

Overview

Step 1: Find your IP
  1. Disconnect your PSTN line from the LINE socket. By the term "PSTN", we are referring to your regular landline provider
  2. Dial **** 110 # to listen to your IP address of your SPA-3102
Step 2: Enter your IP address via the web interface
  1. Enter the IP address into your web browser
  2. Go to the WAN Setup menu
  3. Select Static IP
  4. Enter IP address: 192.168.0.10
  5. Enter Gateway Address: 192.168.0.1
  6. Enter Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
  7. Submit all changes

Step 3: Access the Motorola SBG900
  1. Enter or click into your web browser 192.168.0.1
  2. You should see a pop-up style box prompting you for your username and password.
  3. Enter your username and password now. By default the username is admin, and the password is motorola. Click the Log In button to log in to your router.
Step 4: Configure Port Forwarding
  1. Now click the Gateway button near the left side of the page.
  2. The menu near the top will now change. In this new menu, click Port Forwarding.
  3. Click the config button near the top of the page.

Step 5: Enter UDP 5060 for SIP
  1. We will now need to add the ports needed for the engin voicebox.
  2. The engin voicebox requires you to forward ports 5060. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Add New Port Forwarding Entry menu and then click Add.
  3. The second rule is needed for UDP protocol and the entries to be made are as below:
    1. Template: Custom
    2. Name: engin
    3. Port Start: 5060
    4. Port End: 5060
    5. Lan IP Address: 192.168.0.10
    6. Enable: Checked

  1. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Add.
  2. When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes. And that's it! You're done!
