I have an engin voicebox series 1 or 2, how do I setup port forwarding and a static IP for my Motorola SBG-900?

There are 5 steps in total to configure a static IP for your enign voicebox and configuring port forwarding.

1. Dial ****, once you hear the voice, dial 101# followed by 0# 1  - Hang up.
2. Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 111#, then 192*168*0*10# 1 - Hang up.
3. Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 121#, then 255*255*255*0# 1    - Hang up.
4. Dial **** once you hear the voice, dial 131#, then 192*168*0*1# 1   -Hang up.  

1. Dial **** 100 # to listen to the state of DHCP (voice should say ‘disabled’)
2. Dial **** 110 # to listen to your IP address (should say 192.168.0.10)
3. Dial **** 120 # to listen to your Subnet Mask (should say 255.255.255.0)
4. Dial **** 130 # to listen to your Default Gateway (should say 192.168.0.1)

1. Type your Router IP Address (preceded by http://) in the address bar of the browser, as shown below. Note: The Router IP Address of your router is shown on the left side of this instruction screen. If you don't know it, you can try the default gateway IP is which is 192.168.0.1
2. You should see a pop-up style box prompting you for your username and password.
3. Enter your username and password now. By default the username is admin, and the password is motorola. Click the Log In button to log in to your router.
   

1. Now click the Gateway button near the left side of the page.
2. The menu near the top will now change. In this new menu, click Port Forwarding.
3. Click the config button near the top of the page.

1. We will now need to add the ports needed for the engin voicebox.
2. The engin voicebox requires you to forward ports 5060. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Add New Port Forwarding Entry menu and then click Add.
3. The second rule is needed for UDP protocol and the entries to be made are as below:
   • Template: Custom
   • Name: engin
   • Port Start: 5060
   • Port End: 5060
   • Lan IP Address: 192.168.0.10
   • Enable: Checked
4. You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Add New Port Forwarding Entry page.
   
5. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Add.
6. When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes. And that's it! You're done!
