Overview
Step 1: Login to your NB5
- Login to your Netcomm NB5 using 192.168.1.1
- Enter the username: admin and password: admin
- Go to Advanced > LAN Clients
- Check your attached devices or your DHCP table to verify if the engin 121 phone is connected
- You should see a MAC address of 00:30:0A with host name " " connected to your NB5
- Make a note of the IP address, and enter this value into your web browser. It will probably be 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.101,192.168.1.102
Step 3: Reserve IP Address
- Select the Reserve IP address function for the MAC address which starts with 00:30:0a
- The status should say " Static" to indicate the engin 121 has a static IP address.
- Click Apply
Step 4: Port Forwarding Menu
- Go to Advanced
- Go to the Port Forwarding menu
Step 5: Adding a custom rule
- Go to User
- Click New
Step 6: Forwarding SIP ports
- Enter the rule name: engin
- Enter the protocol: UDP
- Enter port start:5060
- Enter port end:5060
- Enter port map:5060
- Click Apply
- Add the "engin" rule to the IP address you assigned in Step 3
- Apply changes
Step 8: Changing ethernet ports
- Go to Setup > Ethernet Switch
- Select the Physical Port the engin 121 is connected to and change to " 10/ Full Duplex"
- Save and apply changes
- Go to Tools
- Go to system commands
- Save all changes
