How do I setup my SNOM 300 to the engin network?

Step 1: Login to your SNOM 300
  1. Login to SNOM 300 by finding the IP address via your gateway's DHCP table
  2. If you don't have a DHCP table, use netscan (go to downloads and search)
Step 2: Setting Up The SIP server
  1. Go to the Identity One > SIP
  2. Enter your engin number as your display name: 0280040000
  3. Enter your engin number as your account name: 0280040000
  4. Enter your engin SIP password: 098q34KS
  5. Enter the engin registar address: byo.engin.com.au
  6. Enter the engin Outbound proxy address: syd.byo.engin.com.au
  7. Enter your authentication username: 0280040000
  8. Save all changes
Step 3: Codecs
  1. Go to the RTP tab
  2. Change the codecs in the following order, g729A, g711a.
  3. Turn RTP encryption off
  4. Save all changes.
  5. Your SNOM 300 is now registered.
