How do I setup a speed dial for my x-lite softphone?

Step 1: Logging into the softphone
  1. Open  the softphone application
  2. Right click on the softphone and press SIP Account Settings



Step 2: Changing the dial plan
  1. Click Properties
  2. Go to Dialling Plan
Creating your speed dial

Explanation: When *4 is dialed, the dial plan will strip the first 2 digits ( *4) and dial 0425373360 immediately.

*4;match=1;prestrip=2;pre=0425373360

To add another speed dial, copy and paste the above string, and change:  match=1 to match=2

 *4|*5;match=1;prestrip=2;pre=0425373360;match=2;prestrip=2;pre=0425373361
