How do I connect my RTA 1335 /1025W to the engin nDSL network?

Overview

Step 1: Login to the modem
  1. Login via http://192.168.1.1 Your username is admin, and the password is admin
  2. Go to Quick Setup and deselect the check box below to scan the Internet connection automatically
  3. For Australia , the VPI and VCI numbers for your Internet connection will be 8, 35 respectively.
  4. Select Next
Step 2: Select PPPoE
  1. Select the encapsulation type for PPPoE . It should be LLC/SNAP
  2. Select Next
Step 3: Configure WAN IP settings
  1. Select Obtain IP address automatically, enable NAT, and leave the MTU as 1492.
  2. Select Next


Step 4: Enter your PPP username and password
  1. Enter your ISP username and password and " Always on"
  2. Select Next
Step 5: Configure LAN settings
  1. Select Obtain IP address automatically, enable NAT, and leave the MTU as 1492.
  2. Select Next
Step 6: Summary Page confirmation
  1. The Internet Connect Summary will appear confirming your connection details
  2. Select Next
Step 7: Connect your modem to the internet
  1. Your status should be training and ready to connect.
  2. Select Connect
Step 8: Connected
  1. Your ADSL modem should be connected to broadband as per the status screen
  2. Open up your web browser to verify if you have internet access.
