How do I connect my D-Link DIR-300 to the engin nDSL network?

Overview

Step 1: Login to the DIR-300
  1. Open your Internet Explorer and log into your router by typing in its IP address (in most cases the default IP is http://192.168.0.1
  2. Specify username and password for your router, the default is `admin' and password is admin.
Step 2:  Run Wizard
  1. After logging into the DIR-300, click manual internet setup
  2. And, you will be taken to the internet setup page


Step 3: Select PPPoE encapsulation
  1. Select the 'PPPoE ' option in the router and enter your account details (username and password).
  2. Enter your 'engin dsl Username'
  3. Enter your 'engin dslPassword'
  4. Click on 'Apply'.
  5. The router will restart with the new setings. Recycle power to DIR-300.
Step 4:  Checking connection status
  1. Go to Status > Device Info
  2. Check if the WAN (known as your internet connection) is receiving and sending packets.
