Overview

Step 1:  Log into Telnet
  1. In order to complete this fix, you will need to enter some commands into a Telnet session. WINDOWS VISTA USERS GO STRAIGHT TO STEP 6
  2. Windows XP users simply click Start > Run and type telnet '192.168.1.254' without the quotations into the Run box

  3. You will be presented with a black screen prompting you for a username. Type 'Administrator' (Case sensitive and without the quotations) and press Enter
  4. You will then be prompted for a password. There is no password by default, just press Enter
  5. You will then be presented with the Telnet home screen for the oneHub

  6. Windows Vista users will need to enable Telnet client before proceeding
  7. Select Start Control Pannel Programs and Features

  8. Select 'Turn Windows features On or Off' from the left hand side

  9. This will open up a popup window displaying a list of windows features. This may take a while to generate. Place a tick in the box next to Telnet Client and click OK. DO NOT change anything else.

  10. Windows will now enable the feature. This WILL take several minutes. If you get a User Alert box pop up when you click OK, simply allow the change.

  11. Once complete, click on Start, then type 'telnet 192.168.1.254' without the quotations into the search box at the bottom and press enter
