Overview
Step 1: Login to your Dynalink 1046VW
- Open up your web browser.
- Log in to the router at its default LAN
address of http://192.168.1.1 with its default User Name of admin, default password of admin
Step 2: SIP Basic Settings
- Go to Voice
- Click SIP Basic
- Interface: PPPoE
- SIP Transport Protocol: UDP Port: 5060
- SIP Registrar Address: byo.engin.com.au Port: 5060
- SIP Outbound Proxy: syd.byo.engin.com.au or mel.byo.engin.com.au Port: 5060
- SIP Proxy Server Address: byo.engin.com.au Port: 5060
- Phone: 1
- Phone Number: i.e. 0280040000
- Caller Name : Your Name
- User Name : i.e. 0280040000
- Password: SIP password
- Go to Codec
Option
- Select G729a
Step 4: SIP extension settings
Here we configure specific SIP settings for the engin service.
- Encode SIP option with the user agent: Disable
- Encode SIP URI with user=phone parameter: Default
- SIP Register with Expired Time: seconds (range: 30 ~ 86400): 1800
- SIP Session Timer: seconds (This value must not be less than Min-SE value.) 1800
- SIP Min-SE value: seconds (minimum: 90 seconds) 1800
- Do Not Send My Phone Number: Depends if you want CID blocked.
- Subscribe Voice Mail Service: Disable
- Enable Voice Activity Detection: Disable
- Send Telephone Events via: RFC2833 and with payload type 101
- Inter-Digit Timeout Value: seconds (range: 3 ~ 120): 6
- Dial Timer: seconds (range: 2 ~ 120): 4
Step 5: Enable SSH for the helpdesk if registration fails
- Go to Management > Management Control
- Enable SSH
- Send your public IP or DynDNS name to support.
