I am having 20 second dropouts with my Netgear DG834N? How do I resolve this issue?

Overview

Firmware version 1.02.08 is not supported by engin due to 20 second dropout issues. You must downgrade your firmware to version 1.01.03 to become supported by engin

Step 1: Login to your Netgear DG834N
  1. Login to your router or modem using 192.168.0.1
  2. Enter the username: admin and password: password
Step 2: Downgrade your firmware
  1. Go to Router Upgrade menu
  2. Download version 1.01.03 from the Netgear support site.

Step 3: Disabling SIP ALG
  1. Go to Router Upgrade menu
  2. Make a note of the IP address , and enter this value into your web browser
