Overview
Step 1: Login to your D-Link DSL series modem
- Login to your router or modem using 10.1.1.1
- Type in the default User Name admin and default Password admin for the username
or leave the password field blank.
Step 2: Check the DHCP table
- Go to Home > DHCP table
- You should see a MAC address
of 00:30:0A with host name "[] " connected to your router or modem.
- Make a note of the IP address
, and enter this value into your web browser. It might be 10.1.1.2 or 10.1.1.3 depending how many LAN
clients you have connected.
Step 3: Login to the engin 121
- If this doesn't work, connect the 121 directly to your PC with an Ethernet cable from the ‘Ethernet’ socket on the back of the 121 and enter 10.0.0.99 into your web browser
- Enter the username: admin, and password: engin to access the engin 121 phone
Step 4: Changing the
WAN
IP address
- When you have logged in, go to the BASIC menu
- Go to the WAN
menu
- Disable Bridge
- Enable IGMP
- Change IP address
to 10.1.1.10
- Change subnet to 255.0.0.0
- Change gateway
to 10.1.1.1
- Disable DHCP Client
- Go to the NAT menu
- Disable NAT
- Disable DNS Proxy
- Disable Auto Discovery
- Enable User Configuration
- For DNS Proxy, enter the IP address
of 10.1.1.1
- Save and reboot your settings.
Step 7: Re-Login to your DSL modem
- To use the web-based management software, launch a suitable web browser and direct it to the IP address
of the Router.
- Type in http:// followed by the default IP address
, 10.1.1.1 in the address bar of the browser. The URL in the address bar should read: http://10.1.1.1 A dialog box prompts for the User Name and Password.
- Type in the default User Name admin and default Password admin for the username
or leave the password field blank.
- Click the OK button to access the web-based manager.
Step 8: Virtual Server Menu
- Click on the Advanced > Virtual Server
- Go to User and click Add
- Enter rule name: engin
- Enter Protocol: UDP
- Enter Start port: 5060
- Enter End port: 5060
- Enter Port Map: 5060
- Click Apply
Step 10: Add Rule Applied
- The Rule should now be defined under the user category
- Click Apply
Step 11: Apply engin Rule and Reboot
- Go to user and add the rule "engin" and add it to applied rules.
- Click Apply
- Save your settings and reboot
