I have a 5 minute dropout issue with my Netgear WGR614v9 router? How do I resolve the problem?

Overview

Step 1: Login to your Netgear WGR614v9
  1. Start your web browser and type the private IP address of the Router in the URL field: http://192.168.1.1
  2. By default, the username is admin and the password is password.
Step 2: Disable SIP ALG
  1. Go to the WAN Setup link and disable SIP ALG
  2. Let your router reboot and then the 5 minute dropout issue should be fixed.
