Overview
Step 1: Login to your DI series router
- Login to your DI series using 192.168.0.1
- Check your attached devices or your DHCP table to verify if the engin 121 phone is connected
- Enter the username admin and default Password admin”
- Go to the Home > DHCP table
- You should see a MAC address
of 00:30:0A with host name " " connected to your router or modem.
- Make a note of the IP address
, and enter this value into your web browser
Step 2: Login to your engin 121
- If this doesn't work, connect the 121 directly to your PC with an Ethernet cable from the ‘Ethernet’ socket on the back of the 121 and enter 10.0.0.99 into your web browser
- Enter the username: admin, and password: engin to access the engin 121 phone
Step 3: Changing the
WAN
IP address
- When you have logged in, go to the BASIC menu
- Go to the WAN
menu
- Disable Bridge
- Enable IGMP
- Change IP address
to 192.168.0.10
- Change subnet to 255.255.255.0
- Change gateway
to 192.168.0.1
- Disable DHCP Client
- Go to the NAT menu
- Disable NAT
- Disable DNS Proxy
- Disable Auto Discovery
- Enable User Configuration
- For DNS Proxy, enter the 192.168.0.1
- Save and reboot your settings.
Step 6: Login to your DI series router
- To use the web-based management software, launch a suitable web browser and direct it to the IP address
of the Router.
- Type in http:// followed by the default IP address
, 192.168.0.1 in the address bar of the browser. The URL in the address bar should read: http://192.168.0.1 A dialog box prompts for the User Name and Password.
- Type in the default User Name admin and default Password admin” for the username
leave the password field blank.
- Click the OK button to access the web-based manager.
Step 7: Setup Port Forwarding for SIP
- Go to the Advanced tab > then click Virtual Server
- Enter the Rule Name: SIP
- Enter the Private IP: 192.168.0.10
- Enter the Protocol: UDP
- Enter Private Port : 5060
- Enter Public Port : 5060
- Select: Schedule Always
Step 8: Setup Port Forwarding for
RTP
- Enter the same process for RTP
traffic (media transmission)
- Enter the Rule Name: RTP
- Enter the Private IP: 192.168.0.10
- Enter the Protocol: UDP
- Enter Private Port : 16384
- Enter Public Port : 20384
- Select: Schedule Always
