Overview

With this method, You can prepend 1831 into your dial plan so all calls will hide CID, however when you dial #68, you will be able to dial any number with your caller ID shown on a call by call basis. You will be able to tell if the feature is invoked, by a difference in dial tone. (In between the Australian and American dial tone)

Step 1: Accessing your unit
  1. Connect your phone into the PHONE port of your Linksys ATA .
  2. Dial **** then 110#, the SPA-3102 will announce the current IP address
  3. Once you have the IP address of your SPA-3102 you can access the web interface by opening a web browser and typing the following in the Address: http:/ /< IP Address of SPA-3102> For example: http://192.168.1.10
Step 2: Access LINE 1
  1. Go to Voice > Admin Login > Advanced
  2. Click the URL
  3. If a username and password login appears enter username" admin, and your engin SIP password.
  4. If you decide to lock down the user side of the SPA-3102, the username is"user"

Step 3: Update the dial plan
  1. Go to LINE 1
  2. Enter the following information under the Gateway Heading
    • Gateway 1: syd.byo.engin.com.au
    • GW1 Auth ID: Your engin number (0280040000)
    • GW1 Auth ID: Your SIP password

  3. Enter the following dial plan into LINE 1 of the Linksys web menu (at the bottom of the page)
  4. Ensure the full dial plan is copied. It should end and start with a bracket to close the rule
  5. Copy the relevant dial plan for your state and submit all changes.
