How do I bridge the Dynalink RTA100+?

Overview

Please reset the modem to factory defaults before continuing. To do so, get a pin or paperclip and insert it in to the reset pinhole on the back of the modem. You'll feel a switch depress; hold the pin or paperclip in for around 20 seconds.


Step 1: Login to the RTA100+
  1. Log in to the modem with the web address: http://192.168.1.1
  2. enter the username: admin -- Password: admin
Step 2: Enter Configuration Options
  1. Select Advanced Configuration
  2. From the options under the tabs and set the following:
  3. Operation Mode to Enabled
    Encapsulation to 1483 Bridge IP LLC
    VPI: 8
    VCI: 35
    Bridge: Enabled
    Default Route: Disabled
    Click [Submit]

Step 3: Disable NAT
  1. Click the Services tab
  2. Click Disable
Step 4: Finish and Submit changes
  1. Click the Submit button
  2. wait for the page to refresh Select Admin from the tabs at the top (right-most tab)
  3. Select Save & Reboot from the options under the tabs Click the Save button, wait for the page to change back to Save & Reboot Click the Reboot button
