I have an engin SPA-3102, how do I setup a static IP and configure a DMZ via an Telstra supplied Speedstream 6520 modem?

Overview

Step 1: Find your IP
  1. Disconnect your PSTN line from the LINE socket. By the term "PSTN ", we are referring to your regular landline provider
  2. Dial **** 110 # to listen to your IP address of your SPA-3102
Step 2: Enter your IP address via the web interface
  1. Enter the IP address into your web browser
  2. Go to the WAN Setup menu
  3. Select Static IP
  4. Enter IP address : 10.0.0.1
  5. Enter Gateway Address: 10.0.0.138
  6. Enter Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
  7. Submit all changes
Step 3: Login to your Siemens modem
  1. Access the Siemens Speedstream 6520 web configuration menu by entering 10.0.0.138 into the address bar of a web browser, and then press enter.
  2. Once you are in the configuration menu, select Login from the left navigation pane of the Web interface, the user name and password to access this section of the configuration menu are both admin by default.


Step 4: The Firewall Menu
  1. Select  Gateway > Security > Firewall settings
  2. Go to Configure DMZ when inside the Firewall settings menu and make sure it is ticked



Step 5: Enable the DMZ
  1. Enter the IP address of 10.0.0.1 into "Enable DMZ with this host" field
  2. Make the settings permanent
  3. Save all changes by clicking the "Apply" button
