I have an engin SPA-3102, how do I port forward SIP (UDP 5060) via my Netgear modem / router?

Overview


Step 1: Find your IP
  1. Disconnect your PSTN line from the LINE socket. By the term "PSTN ", we are referring to your regular landline provider
  2. Dial **** 110 # to listen to your IP address of your SPA-3102
Step 2: Enter your IP address via the web interface
  1. Enter the IP address into your web browser
  2. Go to the WAN Setup menu
  3. Select Static IP
  4. Enter IP address : 192.168.0.10
  5. Enter Gateway Address: 192.168.0.1
  6. Enter Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
  7. Submit all changes


Step 3: Login to your Netgear modem or router
  1. Open up your web browser.
  2. Log in to the router at its default LAN address of http://192.168.0.1 with its default User Name of admin, default password of password, or using whatever User Name, Password and LAN address you have chosen for the router.
Step 4: Add Custom Service
  1. Go to Services menu
  2. Add Custom Service


Step 5: Add Service
  1. Enter the name: SIP
  2. Enter Type: UDP
  3. Enter Start port: 5060
  4. Enter End port: 5060
  5. Click Apply



Step 6: Firewall Rules

  1. Go to the Firewall Rules menu
  2. Go to Inbound Services



Step 7: Enabling Inbound Service
  1. Select the Service you created (It should be SIP)
  2. For Action allow ALWAYS
  3. For the LAN server enter the IP address you want to forward to: 192.168.0.10 (example)
  4. Click APPLY
