My Netcomm VoIP product cannot call my engin Sipura / Linksys product?

Overview


Step 1: Accessing the Sipura ATA
  1. Connect your phone into the PHONE port of your Sipura ATA .
  2. Dial **** then 110#, the SPA will announce the current IP address
  3. Once you have the IP address you can access the web interface by opening a web browser and typing the following in the Address: http:/ /< IP Address of SPA> For example: http://192.168.1.10
  4. Enter the username: user and  your SIP password
Step 2: Accessing the admin section
  1. You should now see the Sipura Phone Adapter Configuration screen.
  2.  Click on Admin Login link
  1. Click on Admin Login on the right hand side, then click on Advanced. You can also go directly to the admin/advanced section by typing: http://192.168.1.10/admin/advanced
  2. Enter the username: admin and your SIP password
Step 3:  SIP Settings.
  1. The SIP tab as a number of advanced settings that control how the SPA initiates telephone calls with other hardware (and software). There is one setting on the SPA that you should change.
  2. Under the SDP Payload section, change the G729a Codec name to G729 (ie remove the a).
  3. Submit all changes
