Step 1: Download the Linksys Firmware

  1. Download the Linksys firmware from www.linksys.com or visit the ftp site here: Firmware Update/
  2. Save and unzip the file onto your desktop.
Step 2: Login to your Linksys VoIP router
  1. To access the web-based utility, launch Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, and enter the Gateway ’s default IP address ,
  2. Login via http://192.168.1.1 with the username: admin, and password: admin
Step 3: Upgrade your firmware

  1. Go the Administration tab > Firmware Upgrade
  2. Browse for the .bin firmware you saved in STEP 1
  3. Upload the firmware to your router
