How do I connect my SMC router using PPPoE?

Overview
Step 1: Login to your SMC router
Step 2: Run the setup wizard
Step 3: Select timezone
Step 4: Select PPPoE encapsulation
Step 5: Enter authentication details

Step 1: Login to your SMC router
  1. To access the Wireless Barricade’s management interface, enter the Wireless Barricade IP address in your Web browser http://192.168.2.1.
  2. Then click LOGIN. (By default, there is no password.)
Step 2: Run the setup wizard
  1. Go to the Setup Wizard menu
  2. Click Next



Step 3: Select timezone
  1. Select your applicable timezone according to your state
  2. Click Next



Step 4: Select PPPoE encapsulation

  1. Select PPPoE xDSL
  2. Click Next



Step 5: Enter authentication details

  1. Enter your ISP username
  2. Enter your ISP password
  3. Click Next
  4. Your SMC router should be configured using PPPoE .
