How do I connect my TA612v to my Telstra using Heartbeat authentication ?

1. Delete the Bigpond client from your computer. There should a small icon in your windows tray. Make sure the software is completely disabled and all options are unchecked as per the image below.
2. Your Bigpond username and password will need to be transferred into the Linksys router

1. Open up your web browser (internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox)
   
2. Enter  192.168.61.1 into your web browser and enter the username admin, and password: password when prompted to login
3. Go to the Setup Wizard
4. Select your region as Australia
5. Select Language as English
6. Select NO to the smart wizard
   

1. Select your login type as Telstra Heartbeat
2. Select idle timeout as 5 Minutes
   
3. For authentication server enter your Heartbeat server address.
   

1. For DNS, select "Get Automatically from ISP "
   
2. Select Yes for enabling NAT
3. Click the test button
4. If the test operation is successful, your computer will be redirected to the netgear.com website and consequently you will be connected to the internet.
