How do I connect my TA612v to my ISP using PPPoE?

Step 1:  Logging into your TA612v.
  1. Open up your web browser (internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox)
  2. Enter  192.168.61.1 into your web browser
  3. Enter the username admin, and password: password when prompted to login
  4. Go to the Setup Wizard
  5. Select your region as Australia
  6. Select Language as English
  7. Select NO to the smart wizard



Step 2:  Selecting the Encapsulation type
  1. Select Yes for ISP login
  2. Select your encapsulation type as PPPoE
  3. Leave idle timeout at default (0)
  4. Select Get IP address Dynamically from ISP



Step 3:  Testing the connection to your ISP
  1. For DNS, select "Get Automatically from ISP "
  2. Select Yes for enabling NAT
  3. Click the test button
  4. If the test operation is successful, your computer will be redirected to the netgear.com website and consequently you will be connected to the internet.
