How do I connect my Linksys modem / router using PPPoE?

Overview
Step 1: Login to the Linksys router
Step 2: Select PPPoE encapsulation
Step 3: Enter your Auth Details
Step 4: Verify connection

Step 1: Login to the Linksys router
  1. Login via http://192.168.1.1 by typing the link into your web browser
  2. Enter your username: admin, password: admin
Step 2: Select PPPoE encapsulation
  1. Go to the setup page (first page when you have successfully logged into the router) and select the last option from the drop down menu
  2. Select PPPoE
Step 3: Enter your Auth Details
  1. Enter your ISP username
  2. Enter your ISP password
  3. Select keep alive redial period 30 seconds.
  4. Save and reboot.
Step 4: Verify connection
  1. Go to the Administration > Router
  2. Your login status should be connected and you can now surf the internet
