My Netgear WGR614v8 router is dropping out my engin VoIP calls? How do I fix the problem?

Overview

Step 1: Login to your Netgear WGR614v8
  1. Log in to the router at its default LAN address of http://192.168.1.1
  2. Login with username of admin, default password of password.
Step 2: Disable SIP ALG
  1. Go to WAN Setup
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see various options such as SIP ALG
  3. Make sure this option is ticked and disabled completely.
  4. Your dropout issue has now been solved
