Overview
Step 1: Accessing your unit
- Connect your phone into the PHONE port of your Sipura ATA
- Dial **** then 110#, the SPA will announce the current IP address
- Once you have the IP address
of your SPA-2000 or 3000 you can access the web interface by opening a web browser and typing the following in the Address: http:/ /< IP Address
of SPA> For example: http://192.168.1.10
- Enter the username: user and your SIP password
Step 2: Accessing the admin section
- Go to the admin login
- Enter the username: admin and your SIP password.
- Once you login add admin/advanced on to your IP address
URL for example: 192.168.1.10/admin/advanced

To optimize G711 fallback fax completion rates, please use the following settings in the SPA's "LINE 1" tab:
- network jitter
buffer - very high
- Jitter
buffer adjustment - disable
- Call Waiting: no
- 3 Way Calling: no
- Echo Canceller: no
- Silence suppression: no
- Preferred Codec
: G711a
- Use pref. codec
only: yes
Step 4: Modifying the fax machine
- You may need to lower the Baud rate on your fax machine to 9600 to improve the transmission rate success
- You will also need to disable ECM. (Error Correction Mode) on your fax machine.
